5.14.1 Changes to Crystal Report Templates when adding WBS

Administration and Customization > Create Your Own WBS

Open a Crystal Report template in Crystal Reports Designer.

Rightclick the database icon in the Field Explorer and select Database Location:

ManagementStudio_SetDatasourceLocation

Update any POST table references to point to the new SWSystem table:

CrystalReport_SetDatasourceLocation

Create a new selection parameter “SWBS” in the report

CrystalReport_EditParameter

Add a selection formula to the record selection in a the main report (unless only subreports):

CrystalREport_FormulaWorkshop

Update selection link to subreport, by rightcliking the subreport(s) and do update links.  In update links, add the new parameter:

CrystalReport_SubreportLink

Save the report and run it in ShipWeight – select the new SWBS you’ve created in the report filter window!
